Why Timing Matters

$6M State Grant Secured

We've been approved for an OSCIM grant of $6 million – but only if voters approve the bond in May 2026. This grant was awarded by lottery and is a one-time opportunity.

Construction Costs Rising

Construction costs have been increasing about 5.5% per year historically. In 2018, a new high school was estimated at $88M. Today it's $132M. Waiting only costs more.

Facilities Deteriorating

Our 55-year-old high school is failing. HVAC breakdowns cause school closures. Each year that passes makes the problems worse and more expensive to address.
